The topic I still don´t understand is: there are so many remixes used by you wich are totally unknown to us European, others are in fact old hats and not played in clubs any longer... does anyone understand the policy of industry and their releases ??

ReplyDeleteThanks DJ D!D! - I'm glad my work inspires you, it's nice to hear. My main home-studio computer was recently replaced and took a loooooooong time to rebuild. Since I missed posting a mix that had a few recent hits in them - I wanted to incorporate them into this set. The reason some are unknown to Europe (as well as other parts of the globe) is that some of the mixes I use are only available promotionally to a "test market" and some of the mixes are from some of the remixers who are friends of mine (no LA name dropping now! lol)

If you are outside the USA or you were lucky enough to have subscribed to Lollipop Unwrapped when it was available on iTunes as a podcast - the good news is you can still recieve it as long as you update your podcast feeds. My podcast page is not available within the USA.
My podcast was banned when it reached a certain level of exposure and no longer fell under the radar (well then don't make my podcast a "new and noteworthy" pick} Some of the mixes contained in a few of my mixes competed with exclusive releases to Apple. Viola - no Lollipop on iTunes. (But bitter me no...)
